About Standing O Productions

Standing O is a risk-taking theatre company dedicated to presenting
lesser-known masterpieces paired with area premieres to engage the
community and inspire discussion.

Standing O is located in Severna Park, MD and typically performs at
Chesapeake Academy's Black Box Theatre in Arnold, MD.

From Severna Park, Baltimore, and points north:
Take Rt. 2 South.  Turn right onto Jones Station Rd.  Turn left onto
Baltimore & Annapolis Blvd.  Follow B&A Blvd. for about 1 mile.  School is
on left.  Pass school and enter through second entrance.  Theatre is in the
front right of the building.  1185 B&A Blvd.  Arnold, MD.

From Annapolis and points south:
Take Rt. 2 North.  Turn left onto Jones Station Rd. and follow directions

Artistic Director
Ron Giddings - holds a BA from Loyola College of MD in Theatre and
Writing and is currently pursuing his MA in Arts Administration at Goucher
College.  In the area, he has directed shows for Colonial Players (Wonder
of the World and their inaugural 24-Hour Project: Months on End),
Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre (Crazy For You, Sweeney Todd, their
40th Anniversary Celebration, and Urinetown: The Musical, which was
awarded the Ruby Griffith Award for Overall Production Excellence in
2007), and Standing O Productions (On the Twentieth Century, The
Retreat from Moscow, Counting the Ways, and Mr. Marmalade).  He has
appeared in the area with Dignity Players, ASGT, Moonlight Troupers, 2nd
Star, CP, the Maryland Arts Festival,
Dundalk Community Theatre, and
Standing O, as John in
2008's production of john & jen and in last
s
eason's The Musical of Musicals and Tracers.  He will next appear as
Dennis in This is Our Youth in May.

Marketing Director
Christina Enoch - has her MFA in Theatre with a concentration in Acting
from Sarah Lawrence College in New York.  She also holds a B.A. in
Psychology and minor in Theatre from Loyola College of MD, and gained
further experience taking improvisation classes at the comedy club Boom
Chicago in Amsterdam and completing the Physical Theatre Intensive
program at Stella Adler Studio in NYC.  She has served as the Performing
Arts Department Chair teaching acting and directing classes at Oldfields
School, where she gained substantial experience in direction and
production.  Christina has performed around the Baltimore area with
various theatre companies, including Cockpit in Court, Spotlighters
Theatre, Liberty Showcase Theatre, and Annapolis Summer Garden
Theatre.  She has appeared as Lily in On the Twentieth Century and as
Lucy in Mr. Marmalade for Standing O.
