The Musical of Musicals:  The Musical
By Eric Rockwell & Joanne Bogart

Composer-librettist Eric Rockwell and lyricist-
librettist Joanne Bogart's The Musical of Musicals is
a hilarious show about other famous Broadway
shows with amusingly naughty twists. In just a little
more than an hour and a half, the four-member cast
present five musicals parodying five very different
styles. That means Rodgers & Hammerstein,
Stephen Sondheim, Jerry Herman, Andrew Lloyd
Webber and Kander & Ebb. The focus is on these
men's best known shows, with others thrown into
the mix.

Each mini-musical is built around the same plot: a
maiden named June is in distress because she can't
pay her rent to the evil landlord.  To the rescue
comes a Dear Abb
ey style older woman
and her beau, Bill.

This performance is one joke after another, as show
after show is lambasted and skewered with
unparalleled wit and wry humor.

Starring Debbie Barber-Eaton, Sara Cobb,
Ron Giddings, and Jason Vellon.

Tickets are $18/$15

Performances:
July 10, 11, 17, 18 at 8:00 PM
July 12 & 19 at 5:00 PM

Mr. Marmalade

the audience is confronted with a savage black
comedy about what it takes to grow up in these
difficult times.  You’d be amazed how much children
pick up when you think they aren't listening...

Richard Chaves, Eric E. Emerson, Rick
Gallavan, Merlin Marston, Harry
Stephens, and Sheldon Lettich
Direction by Edd Miller

Tracers details the real-life and fictionalized
adventures and tragedies of the Vietnam conflict.  A
composite or collage of interrelated scenes, the play
follows the lives of a group of "grunts" as they move
from basic training, on to combat in Vietnam, and
finally to the shattering realization that their lives will
be forever affected by the horrors that they have
witnessed—and been a part of.

Seeking the roles of Habu and Baby San.

Habu - (20s) - Experienced, African-American wise-
guy of the platoon.  He's been in country the longest
and imparts his wisdom on the younger grunts.

Baby San - (20s) - The youngest draftee in the
platoon.  All is new to him, and he is the butt of many
of the other soldiers' jokes.  He often acts from a
place of fear and innocence, yet dreams of a better
life after the war back in Brooklyn.
